11 Died in Winter Storm That Dumped More Than 2 Feet of Snow Over Northeast

At least 11 deaths have been attributed to the winter storm that walloped the Northeast with snow overnight and delivered bone-chilling temperatures early this morning. Suburbs North of Boston were hit the hardest. They had more than 2 feet of snow overnight. As much as 18 inches of snow. Temperatures could hit minus 10 degrees Fahrenheit. A new arctic plunge is expected to hit the Midwest and eventually the Northeast next week, bringing more snow and subzero temperatures. 2,200 flights had been canceled nationwide and there were about 3,000 total delays.
